Cleveland Children's Museum

Saturday morning we went to the Cleveland Children's Museum with Todd, Hilary and Adisyn. Megan thought it was great.

Here we are in the "Big Red Barn" exhibit (based on the book "Big Red Barn" by Margaret Wise Brown of Goodnight Moon fame.)

Every farm has a jeep of course. Megan was driving to Grandma's house.

Taking care of the chickens.

We had a minor breakdown over this exhibit. We tried to walk by it with the plan to come back later. Megan spent the next 5 minutes crying to "go swimming" and we had to convince her it wasn't a pool. She did like playing in it, but I think once she realized it wasn't a pool part of the thrill was lost...

She liked driving the bus

and having the chance to work a mouse and play with a keyboard without getting in trouble.

The last exhibit was "Sandstruction" which was a giant room filled with construction type elements and sand.

She basically wandered back and forth all over checking things out.

Adisyn was content to stay in one spot and play.

There were several other exhibits she enjoyed, but we didn't get pics. She loved the toy kitchen and made daddy a sandwich and cake. The grocery store didn't hold much appeal but I think that was during the swimming phase of the morning.

After the museum, we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Chad and I went out Saturday night and enjoyed a quiet evening.
