Having a baby changes everything...

Have you seen that commercial from Johnson & Johnson where the tagline is, "Having a baby changes everything?" I could have my own commercial and I would show them the picture below. We are leaving Wednesday morning to fly to Denver for my brother's wedding. We will be gone for 5 days. Chad and I travel pretty light, usually we each take a small suitcase or share the large one. Megan gets the big suitcase this time. The picture below is everything I'm taking for Megan (and doesn't even count the diapers that I'm going to buy in Colorado, or her car seat, or her stroller). She weighs just over 9 pounds, all she does is eat, sleep and poop. How can she require this much stuff? She probably doesn't, but what if it's cold? What if it's hot? What if she spits up on her dress?

We are looking forward to the wedding (now that all the planning details are out of the way.) The big event is happening on Thursday in Estes Park. Tim and Mindy will get to meet Megan for the first time and we'll get some time in with my parents, Suzy, Nelson and Ariana. We are also hoping that we will get to spend the day on Friday in Rocky Mountain National Park. Maybe we'll have some hiking pictures to post when we get back.
